Chicken Pot Pie Recipe

So, I had an extra pie crust from making "Slutty Pie" the other day and with the snow and ice storm coming I was in the mood for comfort food.

Ingredients:

-1-1.5 chicken breasts cooked and cubed
-1 cup frozen peas and carrots
-1/2 of a small onion (small dice)
-1 can cream of chicken soup
-1 store bought pie crust
- Funyuns
-Olive oil spray

Herbs and spices to taste, but here are the ones I used: garlic powder, black pepper, parsley flakes, oregano, dill weed, sea salt.

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

So, you just diced the chicken (large dice) and the onion (small dice) and toss with peas and carrots with the cream of chicken soup. Then, season to taste preference and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.

Once it looks a little bubbly, crush funyuns and sprinkle on top and spray with olive oil or butter and return to oven.

I put mine on LOW broil, but you have to stay right with it because it will burn quickly.

It isn't the homemade biscuit topping chicken pot pie I normally make, but it is super easy and SO VERY DELICIOUS!!!!

I love funyuns, but a cracker topping would also be amazing.
