This year we have been seeing so many things about how homemade and handmade gifts are so chic. Also, it seems as if the people we give gifts to pretty much have whatever they want that they could go into a store and buy. Wow, we sound very blessed!!!
Anyway, what can you give everyone on the list that is the right size and is fun? Apple Pie Moonshine and Christmas Wine!
I found a few recipes for each on Pintwrest and YouTube, but like everything else...wanted to put my own spin on it. Most of the Apple Pie Moonshine recipes called for cider, but sometimes cider is cloudy and has too much allspice and nutmeg in it for my taste. So, just in case you were wondering why on earth I was using instant cider packs instead of cider-it tastes so great and is clear.

RECIPE
Simmer the following for 20 mins adding the sugars and cider packs once it is hot enough to dissolve sugars and cider mix
64 oz Apple Juice
64 oz water
2 caps vanilla syrup
7 cinnamon sticks
1 c. Sugar
1 c. Brown sugar
3 Alpine instant cider packs
Then cool completely and add the following:
1 bottle Everclear
3 Trial size bottles of Fireball
3/4 c. Vanilla Vodka
